Preparation before operation

Equipment inspection: carry out a comprehensive inspection of all parts of the coal sludge dryer, including the transmission device, conveyor belt, heating system, ventilation system, electrical system, etc., to ensure that the parts are firmly connected, no loose, wear and tear, leakage and other problems. Check whether the drum has deformation, cracks, and whether the sealing device is intact, so as to avoid material leakage or heat spillage during operation.

Cleaning work: Remove debris, accumulated dust and coal sludge left over from the last use inside and around the dryer to prevent these substances from causing fire or affecting the drying effect during the drying process. At the same time, make sure the inlet and outlet are unobstructed to avoid blockage.

Safety protection device check: check whether the temperature sensor, pressure sensor, overload protection device, leakage protection device and other safety protection devices are working properly to ensure that they can accurately monitor and respond to abnormal situations in time. Confirm that safety facilities such as emergency stop button and guardrail are intact and in effective condition.

Material Preparation: Test the humidity, particle size and other parameters of the coal slurry to ensure that it meets the applicable range of the dryer. Avoid feeding coal slurry containing large debris or metal objects into the dryer, so as not to damage the equipment or cause malfunction.

Key points of operation process

Starting sequence: according to the operation procedure, start the ventilation system first to ensure a good ventilation environment in the drying room, then start the heating system, and when the temperature rises to the set value, start the feeding device and feed the coal slurry into the dryer slowly and evenly. During the starting process, closely observe the operation of each part of the equipment, if there is any abnormal sound or vibration, it should be shut down immediately for checking.

Operation parameter monitoring: real-time monitoring of the dryer's temperature, pressure, speed and other operating parameters to ensure that the temperature fluctuates within the set range, to avoid spontaneous combustion of coal slurry or damage to the equipment caused by too high a temperature, while too low a temperature will affect the drying effect. According to the nature of coal slurry and output requirements, reasonably adjust the speed of conveyor belt and dryer speed, to ensure that the material is fully heated in the drying room and appropriate residence time.

Prevent overloading: Strictly control the amount of feeding material to avoid overloading the dryer due to overfeeding of coal slurry. Overload may cause the motor to burn, transmission parts damage, and even cause equipment failure and safety accidents. The automatic control and monitoring of the feeding quantity can be realized by installing the material level sensor and other devices.

Fire and explosion-proof measures: coal slurry may produce combustible gas and dust during the drying process, so it is necessary to strengthen the fire and explosion-proof work. Keep the drying workshop well ventilated and remove combustible gas and dust in time. Prohibit smoking and open fire in the drying workshop, and all electrical equipment should have explosion-proof performance to prevent sparks from causing explosions.

Shutdown and Maintenance

Normal shutdown steps: After completing the drying task, stop the feeding device first, and let the coal slurry in the dryer continue to dry for a period of time until the material is completely discharged. Then turn off the heating system and stop the ventilation system and transmission device after the temperature of the dryer drops to normal temperature.

Emergency stop treatment: If there are abnormal situations during operation, such as sharp rise in temperature, violent vibration of the equipment, smoke, etc., you should immediately press the emergency stop button, cut off the power supply and stop the equipment from running. The equipment shall not be restarted before the fault is removed.

Equipment Maintenance: Regularly maintain the coal sludge dryer, clean up the accumulated dust, dirt and material residue inside the equipment, and replace the worn parts in time. Carry out comprehensive inspection and maintenance of the heating system, ventilation system, electrical system, etc., to ensure that the equipment is in good operating condition.

Storage and management: After stopping the machine, clean up around the dryer and store the tools and spare parts properly. Cover and protect the dryer to prevent dust, rainwater, etc. from entering the inside of the equipment and affecting its performance.
