Yellow sand dryer working principle
Yellow sand dryer usually adopts the principle of heat conduction and heat convection to realize the drying of yellow sand, the main components include feeding device, cylinder, heat source device, discharge device and transmission device, etc. The specific working principle is as follows:
Feeding stage: the wet yellow sand enters into the cylinder of the dryer evenly through the feeding device. The feeding device can control the feeding speed and quantity of yellow sand to ensure the stable operation of the dryer.
Heating stage: In the cylinder, the yellow sand is in full contact with the heat source. The heat source is generally provided by the burner, and the high-temperature hot gas produced by combustion enters into the cylinder body and exchanges heat with the yellow sand. The heat is transferred from the hot gas to the surface of the sand particles through heat conduction, and then gradually penetrate into the inside of the particles, so that the moisture in the sand absorbs the heat and starts to evaporate.
Tumbling and conveying stage: the cylinder body rotates slowly under the drive of the transmission device, and the lifting plate in the cylinder body will lift and sprinkle the yellow sand continuously, so that the yellow sand forms a uniform material screen in the cylinder body, which increases the contact area between the yellow sand and the hot air and strengthens the heat exchange process. At the same time, because the cylinder has a certain tilt angle, in the process of rotation, the yellow sand will gradually move from the feeding end to the discharging end under the action of gravity and friction.
Discharging stage: After drying, the moisture content of yellow sand is reduced to meet the required standard, and it is discharged from the discharging device to complete the whole drying process. At the discharging end, it is usually equipped with discharging chute and other devices to convey the dried yellow sand to the designated place for storage or next processing.

Daily Maintenance
Check the appearance of the equipment: daily check the dryer shell whether there are cracks, deformation, whether the parts of the connecting bolts are loose, and tighten the loose bolts in time to prevent the parts from loosening and affecting the operation of the equipment.
Clean up the equipment: regularly clean up the accumulation of materials and sundries in the inlet, outlet and cylinder body to prevent excessive accumulation of materials from affecting the drying effect and operation of the equipment, and pay attention to avoid damaging the internal parts of the equipment when cleaning up.
Check the transmission parts: check whether the elasticity of the transmission belt or chain is appropriate, whether there is wear and tear, breakage, etc., adjust the elasticity of the belt or chain in time, and replace the parts with serious wear.
Regular maintenance
Check the heating system: check the combustion of the burner every certain period of time, clean the nozzle and carbon of the burner to ensure full combustion and stable heat supply. At the same time, check the heat exchanger for damage, air leakage and other problems to ensure that the heat can be effectively transferred to the barrel.
Maintenance of the cylinder: check the wear and tear of the cylinder, especially at the feed end and discharge end and other wearable parts, and repair or replace the parts with serious wear and tear in time.
